Our Team

Michael Scott Slayton  MBA, LUTCF®, CLU®, ChFC®, CFP®

Scott's life has been a testimony to hard work and personal integrity. Being personally touched by the loss of his father many years ago, he has a deep understanding of how overwhelming financial decisions can be during difficult times. Although a loved one can never be replaced, Scott can help provide more clarity on financial decisions after a loss. Scott also devotes himself to helping people retire securely and comfortably. As a result of the close relationship Scott had with his brother-in-law, Kent, he has passion for providing education and guidance to families with loved ones who have special needs. While deeply committed to his career, he is also active in his church, and Royal Rangers. Scott supports several charities and enjoys officiating high school football games.

Al Alfano CASL®,   LUTCF®, RICP®

Al grew up in a loving home, knowing the value of hard work by watching his Dad. However, his parents were not taught the importance of saving and investing for retirement. His father was forced into retirement due to health issues, making it very difficult for the family to make ends meet. Al helped all he could, but it never seemed to be enough. This motivated Al to dedicate his practice to help others plan for retirement and provide the financial education that his parents did not have. Al understands the unique care and concerns families whave, and he works to educate families on how to plan financially to ensure their loved one is taken care of.

Patrick Nolan CFP®, ChFC®, CLU®

Patrick was born and raised in Dallas and attended Jesuit College Preparatory School before heading to Texas A&M University and earning his Bachelor of Science in Economics. His parents both grew up in New York City and were products of the great depression. Their dedication to hard work and saving made a lasting impression on Patrick. He has been in the financial services business since 1998, having worked at both Fidelity Investments and USAA prior to joining Spectrum Financial Group as a compliance officer. He continues to serve the firm in that position as well as serving clients as a financial advisor. Patrick lives in Dallas with his wife and daughter.
